Citizenship
Main Applicant must be Singapore Citizen (SC)
Family nucleus must comprise at least another SC or SPR

Age
Applicant(s) must be at least 21 years old at the time of application (Purchase under Joint Singles Scheme, must be at least 35 years old)

Family Nucleus
Must form a proper family nucleus under one of the 4 schemes:
. Public . Fiance/Fiancee . Orphan . Joint Singles
* Buying Dual-key EC unit, must form a multi-generation family

Income Ceiling
Average gross monthly household income must not exceed $14,000 (Case to case basis, can try appeal. Call us for further details)

Undischarged Bankrupts
Undischarged bankrupts need to seek the Official Assignee (OA)'s consent if they are applying for an EC. However, they do not need to seek the OA's approval to be listed as an occupier.

Private Property Ownership
Applicants/Occupiers listed in the Application Form must not own / dispose / have an estate or interest in any other flat, house, building or land
-Within 30 months before the date of application, and
-Between the application date and the date of taking possession of the EC

HDB/DBSS/EC
If already bought two subsidised housing units -- > will not be eligible to apply or be listed as an essential occupier in an application.
Eligible Subsidised Flat owner need to fulfil 5 years MOP
Resale Flat without Grant MUST fulfil 5 years MOP on EC TOP's date
